Is it still open or closed again? It seems I keep missing it. T^T I'd have someone send me a invitation but I don't really know anyone anymore and would feel bothersome if I went to just ask them for an invite.

Sorry I just love ochiba so much I want to be apart of it again.

Oh it's no problem. Actually I think my sister and I tried to re-register a while back (a few months ago) but never got a response. Sadly I don't really know anyone in Ochiba anymore so I guess we'll just wait till we can get access again! My sister ~pollo-chan doesn't draw at any oekaki boards anymore because she's waiting to go back to Ochiba! And now that I finally have a computer again I want to do oekaki again as well! Good luck to the redoing of OCHIBA! ^3^/

Meh. Sorry about registration being closed right now. I'm rewriting the entire site and the registration activation has been removed for an a much needed update. I realize that's no excuse considering registration has been closed for over a month, but... well... ::repeats ochiba sucks comments ad nauseam:: Actually, right now I'd like to think that the site is in pre-release phase with the current members either sending me back to the drawing board or helping me to finalize the sections so that Ochiba.Net 2007 will be less 'gee my oekaki poteto board' homepage-ish and more professional and functional *without* losing the 'gee my oekaki poteto board' homepage-ish feeling it has (which I happen to love and prefer since I am a dork)

Sooo... please forgive me ::bangs head:: and please be patient! I promise I'll do what I can to make it worth the wait for you and your sister both.

...or there is always the option to get an invitation. The invitation script has been up and successfully running for a couple weeks, and members can invite whoever they like bypassing admin approval and the registration process entirely.

Sent out invitations to all of my favorite artists/old members and Hotmail ate them. But nevertheless, most of the old ochibau are back and I'm optimistic that others will return... eventually... hopefully *squeak*

So... if there are any straggler intermediate+ DA ex-ochibau out there who see this, please consider re-registration. And check your junkmail box if you do.

Your account was in good standing and active when the site was closed. *everyone*'s accounts were removed. Name the day I ever contacted you after the site closed down and suggested otherwise. Fact is I never contacted you. Fact is there was no bitter spat to ever put us on 'non-speaking' terms. This is all a figment of your over-active imagination.

But as you said, you aren't coming back. And as I said, in light of all this: 'good idea.'

So again... I don't see what the problem is unless you were expecting me to stroke your ego and say 'oh noes' and tell you how much the new comm needs you and your talent. That didn't, wouldn't, can't, won't ever happnen.

it's not a flaw in the system. It's a flaw in the fact that you use a free email account which often discards legitimate mail as spam.

Righto, sorry- I was under the impression it was you who was angry at me. Oh well, common misunderstanding.

In reality, I have no real problem about going back to the site, it's a nice place to Oekaki- but I thought because you were angry at me that there'd be tension/I'd be frowned upon. Well, I suppose if there wouldn't be tension I could go back, but I wouldn't want to go back on my word so I suppose I'll leave it at that.

In regards to your "ochiba and I aren't speaking":

Invitations weren't personal. I spammed so many talented artists I lost count I don't see why you wouldn't have been amongst that list, especially since I invited Nachi and Shahnichan and they are trying to register via standard registration x___x;; I never expected the response I got from the invitations, but at the same time many many many invitations were either ignored, eaten by the spam monster, or sent to bogus email addresses.

Since you already said that you weren't coming back, I won't bother you with questions, but please note, I didn't realize we weren't on speaking terms until today ^_^;; so if I did something to offend you, I hope it isn't to late to say: "my apologies."

You are a very talented artist and I wish you the best in your creative endeavors. Even if you aren't interested now, I sincerely appreciate your initial interest. Thank you for sharing your talent on the original board! I hope you will at least drop by occassionally to visit as the artists on the site deserve to be seen by all.

You must be in "pending" status to be accepted or rejected.
